Missing Assault Rifle : Duo arrested during nocturnal raid in South Kashmir | KNO

Day’s after an assault rifle of a slain militant was allegedly taken away by a youth after the culmination of gunfight at Futlipora Pakharpora, Government Forces arrested two boys during nocturnal raids from Karimabad village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district. Reliable sources said that both the youth have been picked up for questioning. Sources informed CNS that government forces have identified the youth who disappeared after taking away assault rifle of the slain militant. He hails from Karimabad Pulwama. On Friday, government forces had launched search operations in multiple villages to nab the suspected youth. Reports said that during the intervening night of Friday and Saturday, government forces raided two houses and detained two youth. Local sources identified the duo as Shabir Ahmed Mir and Mudashir Shafi Bhat, both residents of Karimabad Pulwama. A police official on condition of anonymity said that duo has been detained for questioning.
